Outer Banks

This is a map of the Outer Banks area in North Carolina. The area consists of several barrier islands on the East Coast of North Carolina. It is home to six lighthouses along with vacation homes, beach cottages, hotels, and several other notable tourist attractions such as the Wright Brothers National Memorial. The area also consists of many beaches where tourists can visit along with seashores and wildlife refuge areas that protect their ecosystem.

Features

The final project features hotels, lighthouses, and other notable attractions in the Outer Banks area of North Carolina. This project uses three SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) icons: a customized hotel SVG icon to represent the hotels, a lighthouse SVG to represent the lighthouses, and an attraction SVG to represent other notable attractions in the Outer Banks. I did this map on the Outer Banks because I would love to travel there, and I hope to do so in the timeframe between 2024 and 2028.
